Quick Answer
The best Thai BL series of 2026 so far is My Romance Scammer, followed by Ticket to Heaven and Love Upon a Time in our ranking.
If you're looking for new Thai BL series airing right now, Police in Love premiered on September 12 and The Crow Club arrived on September 18, while Not Yours is due on September 26.
Most of our main Top 12 are already complete, so we've added release dates, episode counts, current status and where to watch for every series below.
Thai BL in 2026 is no longer one long list of shows waiting to premiere. Some of the year's strongest releases are already complete, while September has brought another wave of new series.
So this guide does two things: ranks the 12 Thai BL dramas we'd actually recommend watching, then keeps track of the newest releases still airing or about to start.
The ranking is subjective, but we're looking for more than popularity: a strong premise, a pairing that works, memorable storytelling and enough personality to make the series worth finishing.
For BL releases outside Thailand, see our Best BL Series of 2026 guide.
The 12 Best Thai BL Series of 2026 So Far
1. My Romance Scammer
Status: Completed · 12 episodes · February 1–April 19, 2026
Where to watch: WeTV
The premise is ridiculous in exactly the right way.
Pai and North are heirs to an extremely wealthy family. Tim and U are scammers. The scammers marry the rich boys for money. Then the fairly obvious complication arrives: people who were supposed to be targets start becoming people they actually care about.
This is not a BL that needs twenty minutes to explain its emotional metaphor.
Someone has been conned into marriage.
Go.
What makes My Romance Scammer more fun than the setup alone suggests is that it has two central couples and therefore twice as many opportunities for secrets to collapse at inconvenient moments. Junior Panachai, Mark Jiruntanin, Ohm Thitiwat and Poon Mitpakdee lead the cast, with Siwaj Sawatmaneekul directing.
There are heavier shows further down this list. Start here when you want something that understands that romantic chaos can be entertainment rather than trauma.
2. Ticket to Heaven
Status: Completed · 6 episodes · May 30–July 4, 2026
Where to watch: GagaOOLala, Viki
And then there is Ticket to Heaven, which is operating in an entirely different emotional register.
Set in 1996 at a strict Catholic boys' school, the six-episode series follows Tanrak and Barth as their closeness develops inside an environment where religion, school authority and sexuality are tangled together.
That makes the romance feel less like the usual question of “when will they finally admit they like each other?” and more like a question neither boy has been given the language to answer safely.
The Catholic-school setting could easily have been nothing more than handsome production design and instant angst. Instead, faith is part of the actual conflict.
Six episodes also help. There isn't much room for filler.
This is one of the 2026 Thai BLs to try if you have been feeling that the genre's familiar formulas are getting a little too familiar.
3. Love Upon a Time
Status: Completed · 12 episodes · March 27–June 12, 2026
Where to watch: iQIYI
A modern man lands almost 400 years in the past and discovers that everyone thinks he is somebody called Klao.
Already better than another internship romance.
Nakhun is stuck in the Ayutthaya era, trying to work out what happened to the real Klao and how he is supposed to get home. Unfortunately for his plan to keep a low profile, Phop — Klao's suspiciously attentive older acquaintance — keeps watching him.
Love Upon a Time has the advantages that come with a historical setting: costumes, social rules, danger that can't be solved by checking someone's phone, and a romance complicated by the fact that one participant technically belongs centuries in the future.
Net Siraphop and JJ Radchapon lead the series.
It is a bigger swing than most Thai BL releases this year, and that alone earns it a high place here.
4. When Light Fades
Status: Completed · 8 episodes · June 25–August 13, 2026
Where to watch: GagaOOLala, Viu
Historical Thai BL gets considerably darker here.
When Light Fades takes place during the political violence of 1976. Ravin is a university student who escapes into the jungle and ends up with a guerrilla group, where he meets Yue. Their relationship starts in a situation where staying alive is the first thing either of them has to think about.
There are guns. There is ideology. There is fear. The romance has to exist inside all of that.
The danger with describing a series this way is making it sound like homework.
It isn't.
The setting gives Ravin and Yue much bigger things to worry about than whether one of them is going to admit how he feels. They’re trying to work out who they can trust while everything around them is falling apart. It also makes When Light Fades stand out in a year where plenty of Thai BL still sticks to contemporary romance.

5. The Edge of Horizon
Status: Completed · 11 episodes · June 20–August 29, 2026
Where to watch: GagaOOLala
Apparently 2026 decided one historical forbidden romance was not enough.
The Edge of Horizon starts with a prince and the son of his nursemaid growing up together inside a palace. Their closeness is obvious. So is the problem: one is royal and one very much isn't.
They meet again later as the kingdom itself begins to change.
There is something reassuringly old-fashioned about the central romantic problem here. Not boring — old-fashioned. Rank matters. Duty matters. Who is allowed to stand beside whom matters.
That gives every small act of affection considerably more weight than it would have in a modern Bangkok condo.
The series also doesn't keep history politely in the background. Political upheaval eventually pushes the two men onto opposing sides, which is a more compelling obstacle than a mysterious ex appearing in episode nine.
6. Duang with You
Status: Completed · 12 episodes · January 31–April 18, 2026
Where to watch: iQIYI
After all that political violence and forbidden royal longing, you may need Duang with You.
Duang is an art student. Qin studies music. Duang sees him, likes him and decides to do something about it.
Revolutionary? No.
Charming? Yes.
Sometimes the nice thing about a campus BL is that you know roughly what emotional universe you have entered. No one gets thrown 400 years into the past, and no one’s secretly working their way into a criminal organisation. The major event is Duang trying to get closer to the guy he fell for and eventually working up the nerve to tell him.
TeeTee Wanpichit and Por Suppakarn carry the central pairing, and the series gets a lot of mileage out of Duang's sincerity.
There is a difference between familiar and lazy. Duang with You mostly lands on the right side of it.
7. A Dog and a Plane
Status: Completed · 10 episodes · May 29–July 31, 2026
Where to watch: GagaOOLala, Viki
A perfectionist flight attendant and an emergency rescue worker meet during a traffic dispute and instantly annoy each other.
Obviously they are doomed to fall in love.
Kanit has built himself a very polished life. Toto is exactly the kind of person capable of barging into it and making that polish difficult to maintain.
The title makes considerably more sense once you know their professions.
The fun here is the collision. One man belongs to first-class cabins and immaculate presentation; the other spends his time dealing with emergencies on the ground. You know pretty much straight away where this is going, but that’s fine. With enemies-to-lovers, the fun is in whether their arguments are good enough to make you want them to start flirting.
Here, mostly, it is.
8. Peach Lover
Status: Completed · 10 episodes + special · January 20–March 24, 2026
Where to watch: iQIYI
This was already on the old version of this guide, and it deserves to stay.
The difference is that it no longer has to carry half the article by itself.
Peach Lover starts with an adult online creator returning after a year away. Po, who has been a devoted fan for years, applies to become his new on-camera partner.
That is an unusually direct premise even by the increasingly adult standards of Thai BL.
The interesting part isn't simply that the show is comfortable with sex. It is the awkward line between performance and actual intimacy. Po thinks he understands the person he has admired from a distance. Working with him makes that assumption much harder to maintain.
Practising the intimate scenes is one thing. Once they’re off set, things get a lot less clear.
9. ChermChey
Status: Completed · 10 episodes · May 19–July 14, 2026
Where to watch: GagaOOLala
Akara has been hurt enough times that he has basically decided love is a terrible investment.
Then he makes one last wish at a temple.
Intha appears.
Very convenient.
Intha does not share Akara's commitment to emotional pessimism and starts pursuing him fairly openly. Much of the series unfolds around Cherm Chey bar, where working together gives the pair plenty of opportunities to discover that saying “I'm done with love” is much easier when there isn't an attractive man standing nearby refusing to take the hint.
Tutor Koraphat and Yim Pharinyakorn lead the adaptation.
It’s a gentler setup than some of the shows above, but that’s part of the appeal. One of them is pretty sure romance is no longer for him. The other keeps giving him reasons to reconsider.
10. Love Like a Bike
Status: Completed · 8 episodes · March 2–April 20, 2026
Where to watch: GagaOOLala, Netflix
This one is less a single romance than a small BL ecosystem.
Three adopted brothers run a bicycle café in Pattaya. Each brother gets his own romantic problem.
Nub-Nueng is a psychologist who meets Sailom, a man afraid of physical contact. Former pilot Tawan runs into Dindin, with whom he already has an awkward one-night history. The youngest brother, Sky, meets Nava and gets his own combative dynamic.
There is cycling too.
A lot is happening.
The three-couple structure means some storylines inevitably work better than others, but it also gives Love Like a Bike an easygoing ensemble quality. If one pairing isn't doing much for you in an episode, another usually is.
And Pattaya plus the cycling-trip setup at least gets everyone out of the standard office/university environments.
11. Love of Silom
Status: Completed · 12 episodes · April 24–July 3, 2026
Where to watch: WeTV
Silom is not exactly an accidental title.
Wayu works as a host while trying to deal with debt and family responsibilities. Krit is a police officer. Their worlds collide when Krit helps him out of a dangerous situation, and what initially looks like another protector romance gets complicated by an actual investigation.
Wayu ends up helping police with a human-trafficking case. Also, Krit appears to have a girlfriend he is supposed to marry.
Not ideal. What makes Love of Silom stand out is that Bangkok isn't just generic city scenery. The nightlife setting, Wayu's work and the police plot all give the series a more specific sense of place.
Up Poompat and Poom Phuripan lead the twelve episodes. Come for the romance. Stay to find out how many different problems these two men can acquire before getting a quiet evening together.
12. Your Dear Daddy
Status: Completed · 8 episodes · May 9–June 27, 2026
Where to watch: iQIYI
Your Dear Daddy was the other series in the original version of this article, and the central idea still works.
Saitharn leaves home and ends up in Chiang Rai carrying more baggage than the luggage kind. There he meets Sila, who becomes a source of stability while Saitharn is struggling both physically and emotionally.
So far, fairly classic hurt/comfort. The better turn comes later, when the dynamic doesn't remain permanently divided into damaged person and protector. Sila has wounds of his own, and Saitharn gradually becomes capable of taking care of the person who first took care of him.
That reversal gives the relationship more balance than the title might initially suggest. If your favorite BL scenes tend to involve bandages, quiet conversations and somebody finally admitting that they cannot handle everything alone, you already know whether this is for you.
New Thai BL Series Airing Now in September 2026
Police in Love / Now Airing
Status: Ongoing · 12 episodes · premiered September 12, 2026
Where to watch: WeTV New episodes: Saturdays
Police in Love has now officially joined the 2026 lineup, so it is no longer sitting in our “coming soon” pile.
Inspector Theer needs to marry someone with an extremely specific birth date and name to avoid the bad luck predicted for him. Unfortunately, the person who fits the requirements is Mangkorn, the subordinate he is constantly arguing with.
The six-month marriage deal gives Yin Anan and War Wanarat exactly the kind of forced-proximity setup BL knows what to do with. Jojo Tichakorn Phukhaotong directs.
We are keeping it outside the main Top 12 for now while more episodes air, but it is one of the biggest new Thai BL releases to watch this September.
The Crow Club / Now Airing
Status: Ongoing · premiered September 18, 2026
Where to watch: Netflix
The Crow Club takes the 2026 Thai romance lineup somewhere much stranger: four couples, a secretive club, supernatural cases and dangerous missions that keep turning professional problems into romantic ones.
It premiered on September 18 and is already streaming on Netflix, where the series is categorized as a Thai LGBTQ+ fantasy romance.
We are not adding it to the ranked Top 12 yet, but it is one of the most distinctive new September releases and an obvious one to watch if standard campus or office BL is starting to feel repetitive.
Not Yours / premieres September 26
Status: Upcoming · premieres September 26, 2026
Where to watch: GagaOOLala, Viu and other international platforms
Not Yours is the next September release on the calendar.
The Thai-Chinese BL follows relationships shaped by debt, dependence and feelings that are considerably harder to separate than the characters would probably prefer.
The series premieres on September 26, with new episodes scheduled for Saturdays. We will revisit it once enough episodes are available to judge whether it belongs in the main ranking.
Which Thai BL Should You Watch First?
If you only want one answer, start with My Romance Scammer for something fun, chaotic and already complete.
Choose Ticket to Heaven if you want something shorter, heavier and more emotionally demanding. Go with Love Upon a Time if historical romance, time travel and elaborate costumes are the main attraction.
Try When Light Fades if you want a BL where politics and the world outside the relationship genuinely matter. And if you specifically want a new Thai BL that is still airing, start with Police in Love.
Five moods, five very different ways into Thai BL in 2026.
What Comes After the Episode?
There is a particular kind of bad decision that happens after finishing a BL you were far too invested in.
You want exactly the same thing again.
Same dynamic. Same tension. Ideally immediately.
Finding another show is obviously the first option. Our broader Best BL Series of 2026 guide includes releases beyond Thailand.
KUN is for something slightly different.
It uses original anime characters rather than actors or characters copied from existing BL series. The idea is to take the parts of BL storytelling people tend to become attached to — slow burn, rivals, hurt/comfort, teasing, jealousy, confessions that take an unreasonable amount of time — and let them develop inside an interactive story.
If that distinction sounds confusing, our guide to BL-inspired roleplay and fictional routes explains it more clearly.
Or just open KUN and meet the characters yourself.
